I was at the supermarket today and needed some courgettes for some courgette fritters, I asked a young chap filling out the veggie counter "Where are the courgettes please? ..he started thinking and then asked me "What's a courgette look like?" I then found myself for about a minuite trying to describe what a courgette looks like (feeling like a right banana!)...he then goes over to the brocolli and said "Is this it? .. now, did I describe a courgette that badly or is the chap, dare I say stupid? Anyway bless him, I felt like giving him a flyer for my cookery classes. People we gorra teach our kids what vegetables are!
